MORE ABOUT HIM
From the1970's to the 1990's, Jean-Louis intensively practiced Pranayama, Yoga Nidra (a deep relaxation associated with guided visualization), creative visualization, and energy work. He taught these sciences and was invited on several radio shows to talk about these subjects. He has also studied hypnotism and dream interpretation and has progressively mastered the techniques of creative visualization.
Meditation was a prerequisite for this training. He studied and was initiated into the meditation techniques of Chan Buddhism, better known today simply as mindfulness. He continued to use these techniques to extend his practice in this tradition. He went through each step and learned how each is used in Eastern and Western spiritual traditions.
Jean-Louis completed several spiritual initiations and progressively focused more on the Western tradition. His goal was to use his knowledge of Eastern practices to resurrect and reveal essential keys of the Mediterranean traditions. This is what he did, writing more than 20 books published by French and English publishers (Llewellyn Publications) and eventually translated into several languages.
He is an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and Yacep with Yoga Alliance. In 2023, the International Yoga Federation has rewarded Jean-Louis de Biasi with the title of "International Registered Yoga Teacher" and "International Continuing Yoga Education Provider".
"Mediterranean Yoga - Aurum Solis" has also been recognized as an official Yoga School by the International Yoga Federation
